CNBC Interview with Warren Buffet, Chairman and CEO, Berkshire Hathaway

In an interview with CNBC, Warrant Buffet added that he is very optimistic about American economy from the long term perspective, but in the short term, things are going to be tough for a while. He also added that best returns for Dow, S&P were during recession.

Roubini bets bottom’ll be made next year, not this

Nouriel Roubini, the chairman of RGE Monitor and New York University Stern School of Business professor says the risk of a second Great Depression has been averted. He feels that the US economy has not yet bottomed out and there may be some more write-downs from US financial institutions.

The 49-year-old professor of economics – nicknamed “Dr. Doom” – rose to fame by being one of the first people to start talking about financial crisis, recession and calling US banking system as ‘Insolvent’.
